Desert Hot Springs Man Located

An 81-year-old Desert Hot Springs man reported missing after leaving home to visit family, but never reaching his destination, was found safely Friday.

Leslie Locke was last seen about 2:15 p.m. Thursday after he left Desert Hot Springs to visit family in Dana Point in Orange County, according to Sgt. Larry Essex. He left in a beige 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible and was found sometime Friday on the toll roads heading toward Dana Point, according to Essex.

The sergeant said Locke was in good condition, but did not have any details on what caused the disappearance.
