PALM SPRINGS, Ca. -

Police sought the public's help to identify a man who broke into a Palm Springs computer store Wednesday by driving a car through the front door.

Police responded at 4:48 a.m. to DA Computers, located at 915 Crossley Road, according to Sgt. William Hutchinson.

Video surveillance footage showed a man reversing ``a black unknown make or model sedan'' through the store's glass front doors, police said. The man is then seen taking items from the store and driving away.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Palm Springs Police Department at (760) 327-1441 or Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-7867.
