    Two men and a woman were in custody Friday after allegedly leading Desert Hot Springs police and sheriff's deputies on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle, which led to a brief lockdown of a local elementary school after the men fled the car on foot.

    A small male Bengal tiger cub was brought to the Paul Harter Veterinary Hospital at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on Wednesday (Aug. 23, 2017) by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service officers, and was placed in the care of veterinary staff.
