EYESORE NEXT DOOR: Burnt Home to be Demolished

PALM SPRINGS - On the 4000 block of Calle Santa Cruz sits a burnt house with a collapsed roof and piles of charred wood. It's been almost three years of the major fire that destroyed it, and residents in the area want it cleaned up. The City of Palm Springs has deemed it a fire hazard and public nuisance. He has tried to get to the bottom of the problem on his own but because the property is on the border of Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City there is a question into which city should take responsibility for the maintenance.
