    Gino LaMont is an Anchor at KMIR News. 

    Gino was born and raised in Orange County, California and hasn't ventured too far from home. He began in the news business in 1995 starting as a photographer and floor director for KMIR News. He got his break in 1997 when a weekend weather spot opened up at a KMIR News.  Gino then went on to co-host the popular morning show, KMIR Today, for the next 6 years.

    As a six-time Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter, Janet has been in many parts of the country getting to know people in countless communities and cities, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Diego and Denver. But she's not always about business, she loves a good laugh, and always finds a way to enjoy what she's doing, whether it's a community event, a night out with friends, or spending time with Teddy, her beloved Morkie.

    Ginger Jeffries is Chief Meteorologist at KMIR News and delivers the Valley's most trusted forecasts weeknights at 5pm, 6pm and 11pm on KMIR and 9pm & 10pm on sister-station KPSE.

    Ginger is the youngest of 4 and grew up in Sacramento with her sister and two brothers, one of whom is an FBI agent.  Now, she has two kids of her own and spends a lot of time traveling for her daughter's national volleyball team. She began her broadcasting career in Eureka, California. Stops include Redding, San Diego, Philadelphia and finally Palm Springs where she has called the Coachella Valley home since 1996.

    Thalia Hayden anchors KMIR Today, weekdays from 5-7am and the KMIR News at 11am.

    Thalia joined KMIR News in February, 2012. Before that, she reported and anchored for WPTV in West Palm Beach, FL, News 10 NBC in Rochester, NY and WCJB in Gainesville, FL. Before making the jump in front of the camera, Thalia spent many years behind the scenes. In fact, her first day on the job after graduating from Seton Hall University, was the same day as the September 11th attacks. She was starting as a Production Assistant at Fox 5 News in New York City.

    Amy is a graduate of St. John's University where she earned a degree in Communications and double minor in Journalism and Sports Management. Amy was also a member of the D1 Women's Volleyball Team. While attending the St. John's, Amy worked at SportsNet New York (SNY) as a Production Specialist for the networks "Jets" unit. Amy also served as a freelance Color Analyst for the Big Ten Network, a Supervisor of the US Open, and a Production Specialist for CBS Sports Radio.

    Angela Monroe joined KMIR as a videojournalist in January, 2010.  She came from KAJ-TV in Kalispell, Montana where she worked as bureau chief, reporter and anchor. For breaking news coverage, Angela won an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.  Angela is currently the weekend anchor for KMIR evening newscasts. Angela likes to travel, write creative short stories, read science fiction, watch movies, listen to music and spend time with family and friends.

    Patrick comes to California by way of Kentucky where he reported for Lex18 News. There, Patrick won an Associated Press award, covered extreme winter weather and reported breaking news every morning around Central Kentucky. Prior to Lex18, Patrick called Georgia and South Carolina home, reporting for WRDW in Augusta, Georgia, taking part in several AP news team awards in his time there.

    Bryan Gallo joined KMIR News as a Weathercaster in August 2015.

    Bryan has hosted several major events including fundraisers for Food For Thought, LA AIDS Project, Palm Springs Gay and Lesbian Center and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Bryan has been a team member on hundreds of successful community functions throughout California, creating a better quality of life for his community and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for local nonprofits.

    Kitty says she's living her dream as a reporter. Her career as a hair and makeup artist took a major turn after the attacks of September 11, 2001 when she realized life was too short not to follow her passion. Kitty says she puts her heart into every story she reports and is honored to be entrusted telling the stories of those living and working in the Coachella Valley.

    Vince was born and raised in Northridge, CA. Before moving to the Coachella Valley, Vince worked as a staff writer/reporter for KHTS AM 1220 in Santa Clarita, CA. His news reporting experience includes general local news, breaking stories, feature stories and natural disasters. While attending College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, he was involved with the student publication Cougar News and obtained internships with both KNBC and KABC in Los Angeles.
